OnePlus looks to possess newer options in the field of work that would go on to force the dark method on particular apps. This new option would particularly work on applications that don’t necessarily support the dark mode system-wide. It looks to be the part of a brand new OxygenOS Open-Beta 11 which was out quite recently for none other than OnePlus 7 and the OnePlus 7 Pro. But, the enforced option of dark mode is not there even for beta testers for the moment and is only available in a few code strings.
How the Dark Mode looks like in Oneplus
The XDA Developers were somehow capable of surfacing the forced darker mode option in a Setting panel of a newest OxygenOs Beta version. This option has been titled as “Enable the dark tone in other apps” and is also available along with the dark mode system-wide. But, it is yet not clear that applications will be well supported by a new offering.
“Make applications that do not support the dark theme will also seem like the dark tone. A few of the applications may fail to perform as per expectation, one can go on to disable them (apps) from the list that is below,” reads a description which seems in a screenshot displaying the latest option.
Some strings that are suggesting the overall existence of this new sort of option were initially spotted by none other than the XDA Developers conference members. It is very much likely that whatever the options are out there would go on to work only once when the users go on to switch to that default darker mode.
The upcoming features via OEMs knowns as the original equipment manufacturers are quite often being put on a test through the beta versions. But, it is not certain or particular that these many features that are being constantly put on a test would go on to be even available to all the users so that they take benefit of those features. With coming to the destination of the brand new enforced dark mode alternative by the OnePlus is, hence, not really confirmed.
