  • The Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi has announced this Wednesday that the company has postponed the launch of its much-awaited Mi10 series in India following the announcement of lockdown due to coronavirus.

“After careful deliberation, we have taken the decision to postpone the launch of Xiaomi’s flagship Mi 10 in India which was scheduled on 31st March 2020. We are evaluating the situation and will release a revised launch date soon”, the company said in an interview.

  • Another Chinese company Vivo has also declared that the company is delaying its V19 launch date and will decide the final dates once the global situation gets back to normal.
  • Realme was also looking forward to launch its Narzo series on March 26, 2020, in India. The Narzo series comprises of the Narzo10 and Narzo10A. However, due to lockdown, the company is bound to follow the directions and postpone the Narzo series launch in India. It is also believed that the company is going to postpone the release of other Realme smartphones as well.

Online stores such as Flipkart and Amazon are making continuous efforts to work and negotiate with the center and the state authorities for the continuity of their service.
