Samsung Galaxy Gear SmartWatch Powered by Tizen?

Samsung Galaxy Gear SmartWatch Powered by Tizen?

Yes you already heard it Samsung just recently launched a new smartwatch the Samsung Galaxy Gear at the recently conclude IFA tech conferenec, there’s nothing new about a smartwatch several companies already released their own smartwatch, like pebble and other tech startup companies and other developing their own Hot Watch. But this is the first time that a huge multi billion dollar company invested so much in a market that is still unstable and unpredictable; the demand for a smartwatch is not that high.. the technology is still in its infancy, but who kudos to Samsung for setting the trend and hopefully it will resonate to other companies, Apple according to rumors is also developing their own smartwatch and might be called iWatch.

This is the first generation of Samsung for smartwatch and it is powered by Android 4.3 compatible Compatible only with Galaxy Note III smartphone a new Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet or Galaxy S4. See specs below:

There are reports that is circulating that Samsung will also release a version of Galaxy Gear smartwatch that is powered by their new operating system Tizen, we don’t know if what will be the version of the Tizen O.S maybe 2.2 or more latest release, but one thing is for sure this version of smartwatch powered by Tizen is much more solid and much more faster than that of the Android version, this is according to tech experts.
Conflicting reports that Tizen will be unveiled this October with the flagship phone for Tizen and a smartwatch… maybe.. Who knows…? Tizen has been clouded by rumors of delayed…delayed…delayed… and worst dead.

We are excited to see if how Tizen will perform in a smartwatch whether it will awe us with its features… and speed….or disappoint us will remain to be seen, we have seen the performance of the Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch powered with Android and so far it is just ok, based on the demo it is somewhat slow and unresponsive in some aspect. We don’t know if maybe Samsung tried to make the development of smartwatch fast, sacrificing the some aspect of the smartwatch like the speed, ease of use and other features or maybe they are just helpless unable to optimized the Android to work well with their hardware (due to close part of the Android system).

If the latter tend to be the case we see a much more better smartwatch when Samsung release a version powered with Tizen operating system.
